Welcome to Ballet Masters Organization

Ballet Masters Organization (BMO) is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote through education the grace, elegance, and simplicity of ballet:

Arranging educational and performance experiences for young ballet dancers.
Building a network of distinguished instructors, choreographers, and directors.
Developing community outreach programs at area high schools, community colleges and art centers.
Offering scholarships and resources to promising ballet students.

BMO provides professional guest instructors for all levels of lecture and dance technique classes. These may include:

Choreography
Dance History
Fundamentals through Advanced Ballet
Men’s class and Virtuoso Variations
Pas de Deux
Pointe and Ladies Variations

This also includes master classes, summer workshops and replacement professors for Sabbatical and emergency leave. All of our instructors have excellent professional ethics and will bring a world class experience to your classroom.

BMO can also provide new choreography and/or stage a full length classic ballet.

Director Stephen Hook attended the American Ballet Theatre’s (ABT) Alumni reunion last year in New York City. He enjoyed a celebratory bow on stage at the Metropolitan Opera House in Lincoln Center. It was announced at the reunion that ABT would create a nationwide Teacher Certification program.

In 2006, ABT was named America’s National Ballet Company by an act of Congress. As a result, ABT has begun building a National Training Curriculum and expand its Summer Intensive program.

Early this year, Director Hook has been invited to participate in ABT’s Specialized Training Initiative to include a Teacher Training Intensives, Teacher Certification Program, and Student Examinations.

Director Hook has been invited to join the faculty of Danse Conservatory (DC). Danse Conservatory is located in San Juan Capistrano with Melissa Allen-Bowman as the company’s Artistic Director. Ms. Allen Bowman is also an ABT Alumni and a good friend of Director Hook for over 30 years. ABT has just named Mrs. Allen-Bowman as Director of its expanding Summer Dance Intensive.
